I just like Shiro, and I want her to be happy. Because there’s more to what’s going on with her than I think even she knows. The betrayal from the last volume has been replaced by me just feeling bad for and wary of her. He's kind of a jerk, even if he does have his reason. Ganta, though, has a fight with Shiro, and I feel bad for her. Two of the new characters have a story I’m at least a little intrigued by. The characters learn more horrors of Deadman Wonderland, but nothing is really revealed to the outside. I should be more cynical about it at this point, shouldn’t I?Īnyway, they’re horrible. The deaths are not hidden from the viewer, or downplayed.

I don’t know why it’s still surprising me how horrific this series is. And, of course, this includes some deaths and psychotic people. We met a few new characters at the end of the last volume, and in this one we meet their gang, just before their plan to expose Wonderland takes off. And every time we meet a new characters, it’s likely they’re also psychotic. I keep saying this, but everyone is psychotic in this series. The deaths are not hidden from the viewer, or do ~3.5-4/5

I want to see the gore and violence! This manga is messed up and that's why I enjoy it. All of the blacked out parts in the anime were SO annoying. Honestly it kind of felt like I was reading storyboards for the anime. The anime is pretty much a carbon copy, with only a few exceptions. I read the first three volumes years ago so I looked at Volume 3 first to see exactly where I was concerning the plot.
